Land rights and women`s empowerment-event at UN
This week we are organizing an event at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The event, will take place on thursday, March 14 and will higlight the importance of land rights for women`s empowerment and gender equality.
Even though women often serve as the primary stewards of land, they in many regions ebcounter formidable legal and societal hurdles in securing land ownership and control.
This lack of land rights hinders women`s economic independence and societal autonomy, impending their agency as catalysts for positive change.
